 Wow!

I just returned home from watching The Passion of The Christ. Wow! I have read the Book many of times. I have been attending Church for over 40 years. I know the story backwards and forward. But, I'm telling you, I was not prepared! This is an extremely intense movie. I cannot describe it, you must witness it for yourselves. But I will tell you this. 

I have never been to a crucifixion. I dare say neither has my wife, or the other members of the audience. But during the entire movie, not a word was spoken by the audience. Those that came in with popcorn and soft drinks, left with the same amount. I'm not even sure if anyone breathed for the entire duration. The only sound was a few sniffles from those holding back tears. It was that emotional.

No, no one there was ready for The Passion of The Christ. But I can tell you one thing. I'm glad Christ was. Seeing the movie, you can quickly understand why He asked God to allow the cup to pass from him. He knew what was to come. Our salvation was not cheap. And this film shows just how costly our sins were.
